Support 4 Community Projects
We reflected on our own experiences and researched how we could help those who are far less fortunate than ourselves. There are many charities out there doing wonderful work, all of which have different aims and objectives in improving people’s lives. We believe there is no harm in one more charity taking up the mantle to help rid the world of the pain and suffering millions of people experience daily.
Look Across Kindly Water In Need
Why Water
Water is one of the key essentials of life, but millions of people around the world do not have access to clean water and this has become one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century. In developing countries women and children have to walk long distances in difficult conditions to provide water for their families and often the water they do get is unsafe due to contamination which can lead to life threatening diseases like diarrhoea and cholera.
One of the biggest challenges that face areas suffering from poverty, famine or drought is the lack of access to clean water for drinking and sanitation purposes. Water is fundamental to life yet even today millions of people, particularly those living in third world countries, have little to no access to it. Water is an all-purpose element that is used for a variety of things, from cooking to cleaning. Not having a steady supply of water puts entire villages in a severely dire situation.
L.A.K has always been mindful of water sanitation, providing residents of affected areas with clean drinking water. One of the ways to provide residents with access to this water is by digging wells and installing water plants. We undertake such projects whenever there is a serious need. Recently, our projects have been concentrated in Pakistan, Bangladesh.
L.A.K implements several sustainable solutions to ensure the supply of clean, safe drinking water to people who otherwise have no access to it. Every year,in addition to emergency water supplies in drought hit areas our L.A.K WATER FOR ALL campaign provides 1000s of needy families with personalised resource of safe and clean water in the form of shallow water wells and community water facilities. The founding members of the charity researched and consulted other charity organisations as to what we could help provide to those in need. The result was the formation of then Well the L.A.K project whose primary objective is the provision of the clean safe drinking water to those people in developing countries around the globe.

For those of us living in the developed world we take for granted one of lives most basic yet valuable commodities clean safe drinking water. We drink, cook, clean and bathe with it. Yet over a billion people around the world do not have access to clean drinking water. The lack of clean water has a detrimental impact on the daily life of almost 1 in 6 of us in the world. Lack of clean water immensely affects people’s health and quality of life. Polluted water is the world’s largest killer of children under five. The L.A.K Project will primarily aim to raise money to develop sources of clean water (wells), install hand pumps, establish health and sanitation programme’s to provide accessible clean water to the less fortunate regions of the world.
In the future the L.A.K project will seek to undertake a number of key projects beyond the provision of clean drinking water, all of which will be in line with the charities objectives of undertaking projects that will compliment people’s lives in the third world. We know there are many charities out there doing a great Job but we at the L.A.K are like a great group of friends and family that’s why we have a strong bond and we make sure these water projects happen, We also are all volunteers who have good jobs and that’s why we put everything we raise back into the projects.

Water is fundamental to life yet even today millions of people, particularly those living in third world countries, have little to no access to it. One of the quickest and easiest ways to provide drinking water is by digging a well or creating a hand-operated water
pump. It is also the most cost-efficient way, which makes water wells a very popular choice in third world countries. They provide water on a small scale, but larger wells and solar powered wells provide drinking water for larger populations. The L.A.K is getting stronger more people want to be volunteers day by day which helps us do more charity work. Brothers and sisters please kindly request you to donate for this good course and seek reward of blessing and prayers from those who will pray for you. A single tube well can serve up to 3-4 families with water to drink, wash and cook with. They are designed to last around 10 years. Tube wells are manually operated and lift filtered water up to about 30 meters beneath the ground with minimal maintenance.
